How a Lumora Botanical Camphor Jar Is Made

Hands gently breaking soft Bhimseni camphor slabs into irregular pieces

A Jar That Shows What It Is Made From

Lumora botanical camphor is designed to keep its ingredients visible. Translucent camphor pieces, dried flowers, warm spices and aromatic woods come together without disguising their natural variation.

Bhimseni Camphor Is Broken By Hand

Bhimseni camphor arrives in soft, translucent slabs. It is not formed into uniform balls. The slabs can be gently broken by hand into irregular pieces that become the foundation of every Lumora blend.

Flowers Are Dried And Kept Separate

Rose, jasmine and hibiscus are prepared as individual botanical choices. Drying helps preserve their visible character before they are introduced to the camphor base.

Whole Spices Are Crushed

Cinnamon, elaichi, clove and bay leaf are crushed before blending. This prepares their warm aromatic character while keeping the ingredients recognisable inside the finished product.

Four Flavours Remain Distinct

Rose, Jasmine, Hibiscus and Sandalwood are four separate Lumora blends. They are not mixed into one combined flavour. Sandalwood powder gives the fourth blend its own earthy, woody character.

Each Batch Is Blended And Filled

The selected botanicals and spices are combined with the camphor pieces in small batches, then placed into the Lumora jar. Natural ingredients may vary slightly in colour, shape and distribution; that variation is part of the product's visible character.

The result is a botanical aroma product made for external aromatic use with a suitable camphor burner. Always use a small quantity in a ventilated space and never leave a flame unattended.
